The Lord gave me a vision a while back about His COVENANT WITH US!!! It was powerful!!! I was being led, to go on stage and I was to deliver this message: The message was – THE COVENANT.
The Lord says, “I have made an everlasting COVENANT with you!
I will not break my word. I will always keep my word, even when you don’t. You must decide, if you will believe and obey what I have told you to do, in my Holy Scriptures, or will you not believe?Your choice will have huge consequences! You will either receive the blessing, of believing what I have said to you and obeying what I said to do, or you will receive the consequences for failing to believe and act on what I have told you to do.
”During the Exodus, the Israelites sent out 12 spies to explore the promised land. They came back and 10 men reported there were giants in the land and that they could not conquer them. They said they would not go forward to take the land. Two men – Caleb and Joshua, reported that they should go forward and take the Land and that God would fight for them and give it to them.
The consequences for not going forward, in obedience and trusting God were: All men and women, age 20 and older, would never enter the Promised Land. They would wander in the wilderness for 40 years and die off. Their children would have to suffer and live in the wilderness. God would provide them with food, and clothing that would not wear out, but they missed His best, that He wanted to give them by faith and obedience.
Our disbelief doesn’t just hurt us. It also affects our families, friends and others. However, because they believed God, Caleb and Joshua were allowed to enter the Promised Land, after a 40 year delay.My friends, we must trust and obey God!!! We must walk in faith and believe that He will provide for us, as we move into the unknown future. We must believe that He will do what He says He will do.
There are all of His promises in scripture, like Philippians 4:19, that He will provide for all our needs. He also said in Deuteronomy 31:6, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”Will you believe this and live a blessed life?
At some point in our lives, we all must decide if we are going to believe God, and the words that He recorded for us, that we find in our Bibles, or are we going to not believe them? Believing, and acting upon them will bring us a life of blessing. Not believing and acting upon His written Word will cause us to have enormous, negative consequences, as we do life our way.
Look at Numbers 14:6-9. “Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, ‘We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.’”
When the people complained that they could not go up to conquer the land, both Caleb and Joshua responded strongly: “Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh . . . tore their clothes and said to the entire Israelite assembly, ‘The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good. If the Lord is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. Only do not rebel against the Lord. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will devour them. Their protection is gone, but the Lord is with us. Do not be afraid of them.”
What are the giants in your life, that are keeping you from going forward and walking into God’s best for you and your family? The Lord is with you. Do not be afraid of them!
Walk in faith and trust in all that God has written in the Bible! Go forward now, IN FAITH, into your promised land that God has for you and your family!
God is faithful! He will slay the Giants in your life! Only Believe!!! Only Obey!!! He will keep His COVENANT with you! He is watching over you and providing for you now and for all eternity!
He’s a good, good Father and He’s got you!!! Rest in this!!!
